Mediacom, one of the largest telecommunications providers in the U.S., constructed a 110,000 square foot corporate headquarters 40 miles northwest of Manhattan. K2 Audio was tasked with the design of acoustics, sound masking systems, audiovisual system design, and audio and control system programming for the facility.
We provided our expertise to engineer optimal acoustic and audiovisual experiences in conference rooms with extensive AV and videoconferencing capabilities, a large dispatch center with a 12-screen video display, the lobby and cafeteria that feature a full complement of audio, digital signage, and a large format video display tied into the audiovisual distribution network, with AV infrastructure provided in wall and floor plates to accommodate presentations and larger corporate events.
