The capitol building required extensive rehabilitation to replace outdated building systems, add critical life safety infrastructure, and to address public space needs. K2’s key role in the project was to replace the AV systems, and we executed the design, installation, coordination, programming, and configuration of new AV systems with an estimated worth of $5 million.
Our AV renovation provided state-of-the-art systems while maintaining the historical integrity of the building. All the systems were integrated for distribution of live media to and from any location on campus to accommodate local overflow, for remote press distribution purposes, and for efficient systems management.
